Project Overview
Oran Park Hotel (81 Central Avenue, Oran Park NSW) is a large, multi-level hospitality and entertainment venue operated by Momento Hospitality, featuring multiple bars and dining areas, plus additional facilities that create high foot traffic and extended operating hours.
As a ground-up build, Element Security delivered the complete electronic security scope to support day-to-day venue operations, protect staff and patrons, and enable strong incident accountability. This included a high-end video surveillance system, facial recognition to support gaming harm minimisation workflows, intrusion detection, and access control for controlled areas across the venue.

- High-End Video Surveillance (IP CCTV): Site-wide coverage designed for clear visibility across key public areas, entries, and operational zones, with camera placement planned to support incident review and venue accountability.
- Facial Recognition for Gaming Harm Minimisation: Deployment of facial recognition within the venue’s gaming environment to support harm minimisation processes and improve speed and consistency of response where required.
- Intrusion Detection: Alarm coverage designed around after-hours risk areas and key access points, supporting early detection and stronger protection when the venue is closed or operating with reduced staffing.
- Access Control: Controlled access across staff-only and back-of-house areas, supporting stronger site governance and better accountability over who accessed restricted zones and when.
Challenges & Solutions
As a ground-up build for a large, high-traffic venue, the key challenge was delivering a security system that was both operationally practical and compliance-ready from day one. Element Security engineered a high-end CCTV layout to provide clear visibility across public areas, entries and key operational zones, while access control was implemented to manage staff-only and back-of-house movement without slowing the venue down.
The venue also required stronger after-hours protection and gaming-specific accountability. Intrusion detection was designed around priority access points and higher-risk areas, and facial recognition was deployed within the gaming environment to support harm minimisation workflows and improve incident traceability where required.
